We have always felt that the rounded boxy form of the R53 generates some drag, so we made our mission to try and remove or at least reduce it.
By creating these side channels we hope to improve the air flow to the rear of the car after the C-Pillar, these Vents for first gen Mini Cooper and Cooper S Hatchbacks will not remove the dirt from the rear hatch but probably reduce the drag redirecting air from the sides to the void generated behind the car, this while giving that old beautiful car a new look.
Reversed engineered, scanned and 3D modeled to ensure perfect fitment, these vents adhere to the window with the provided 3M double sided tape we have been using for over a decade on many of our most loved products,
The LEAP CPV are made either with hand laid fiberglass keeping it affordable or infusion made on the carbon fiber version ensuring a super lightweight and durable product, all of this over two part molds so fitment across production remains impecable.
